Selective Surgical offers cardiothoracic products focused on chest wall stability and closure. Our products include Zimmer Biomet Sternal Closures, Rib Fixation and Pectus Repair solutions.
Our sternal products include rigid fixation systems for use in the stabilization and fixation of fractures of the chest wall, following sternotomy and sternal reconstructive surgical procedures, to promote fusion. Patients treated with SternaLock® Blu experienced improved sternal healing and fewer sternal complications.
Our rib fixation system is used in the stabilization and rigid fixation of fractures in the chest wall, including sternal reconstructive surgical procedures, trauma, or planned osteotomies. RibFix Blu™ provides strength and stabilization even under exaggerated loading conditions.
Our pectus repair system treats Pectus Excavatum, also known as "sunken" or "funnel" chest, and other sternal deformities. It is used in the Minimally Invasive Repair of Pectus Excavatum (MIRPE) technique. Patients experience reduced operating time, minimized blood loss and faster return to activity.
